Meet Paul, your AHPRA registered Doctor of Chinese Medicine.

Paul completed his Bachelor of Health Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) where he received the UTS Faculty of Science Dean’s Merit Award for Academic Excellence.

Having completed hundreds of hours of clinical practice, he has extensive experience in addressing a wide variety of health complaints and has developed a special interest in Facial Cosmetic Acupuncture, a natural and safe approach to cosmetic enhancement.

As part of his studies at UTS, Paul conducted research in the fields of Facial Cosmetic Acupuncture and Temporo-Mandibular Disorders (TMD). He has undertaken additional TCM studies at the Southern School of Natural Therapies in Melbourne and has studied Biological Sciences at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). Paul regularly enhances his learning by attending a broad range of seminars and workshops to deepen his theoretical knowledge and hone his practical skills as a Chinese Medicine Practitioner.

At the core of his treatment philosophy lies the TCM concept of ‘Ben & Biao’ or Root and Branch, in which not only the manifesting symptoms are treated (Branch) but also the deeper underlying disharmonies (Root) that gave rise to those symptoms.

Paul has undertaken over 7 years of accredited training in Acupuncture point location based on a comprehensive understanding of biomedical anatomy to ensure safe Acupuncture treatments and needling techniques. As an AHPRA registered practitioner, Paul is nationally accredited as a safe, competent and ethical healthcare provider bound by strict professional standards.
